Click the Manage Styles button on the lower left (third from left). In the Manage Styles box, click on the Import/Export button on the lower left. In the Organizer box, click on the Styles tab. You now will see a list on the left hand side. Search for TOC1, TOC2 and TOC3. Select them all. Now click on the Delete button in the centre of the Organizer box. A pop-up will appear. Click Yes to all. When done, click Close on the lower right. Now go the References tab and click the Table of Contents button on the left. Click on Remove Table of Contents on the bottom. ![]() Go to References again and click the Table of Contents button. You’ll now see the default TOC styles. Insert the TOC of your choosing.
